Friary Wood Bath bed and breakfast is ideally situated only eight miles from Bath, and thirteen miles from junction eighteen on the M4. It offers a perfect base for sight seeing and visits in the North Somerset area.

The historic town of Bath, with it's Roman spas, is a fantastic place to visit, as are Longleat, Stonehenge, Stourhead, Bowood, Bradford on Avon, Frome, Ilford Monor, The Peto Garden, Longleat , Wookey Hole Caves, and the Cheddar Gorge.

Set in twenty acres of glorious grounds Friary Wood is a tranquil and beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, yet easily accessed via the M4, from London in an hour or twos drive. As you glide down the driveway to the house you will feel the cares of the world lifted from your shoulders. Look around and you will see a tennis court, and an outdoor heated swimming pool, as well as the formal walled garden and the informal garden areas of the terrace above the paddocks.

There are ten rooms at Friary Wood, and each one is absolutely splendid. Choose from: Single rooms with shared bathrooms. Doubles, with luxury bathroom, plus Jacuzzi, and double shower. Small family room, with en suite bathroom, and wet room style shower.

Large family room, with en suite bathroom, to a large family room with en-suite, freestanding bath, double shower, and two sinks.

The stunning Kitchen/Breakfast Room has been fitted to a high specification with Beautiful views overlooking the grounds, gardens and pool. A Gravel Driveway to the entrance of the house provides ample parking and turning for many vehicles.

Most of the rooms can be combined together using interconnecting doors to make family suites, and the large family room its self sleeps six in great comfort. There is also a special guest kitchen, which is ideal for heating bottles, and preparing children's snacks.

Breakfast is delightful, and in sunny weather there is no better place than to sit than on the terrace, and look out across the stunning panoramic view of North Somerset.
