Located in the county of Somerset, the city of Bath is commonly regarded as one of the United Kingdom's most charming and historic places to visit. Designated a World Heritage Site, its famous Georgian architecture co-exists with one of the 21st century's most dynamic and thriving cultural scenes. A renowned university town, Bath is also a major tourist hub for the southwest of England and also boasts one of the mildest climates to be found anywhere in the British Isles.
Less than a mile from the historic city centre, The Firs Bed and Breakfast offers premier B&B comfort and traditional charm within our family-run and newly-renovated Victorian house.
Our wooden-floored reception hall leads to the kitchen, where your complimentary breakfast will be served in classic surroundings, featuring a traditional Aga cooking range. Guests are encouraged to use our warm and bright living room with open fireplace.
Your fully-renovated bedroom also features a traditional fireplace, matching old-world comfort with modern conveniences, including television, en-suite bathroom and shower, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
The Firs is close to the Royal Victoria Park (opened in 1830, it was the first park to bear the young queen's name) and the famous Royal Crescent, one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture to be found anywhere.
Facilities located nearby include an organic coffee shop, delicatessen, launderette, restaurants and bars.
Well-served by public transport, The Firs is an ideal base to explore historic Bath, its dynamic city centre and nightlife - as well as the beauty of the surrounding English countryside.

We also provide off-road parking for our guests. The Firs can be found easily by road, located just off the main thoroughfare of Newbridge Hill (the A431), in proximity to the Royal United Hospital.
